Many areas in North Carolina remain flooded, and nearly half a million homes and businesses remain without power. The Cape Fear River is set to crest at 62 feet and the dam breaches have been confirmed, along with levee breaches, which have added to the ongoing flooding.

  • Feed the Hungry is in the process of delivering over 456,000 pounds of food and essentials to community.
  • Supplies include ready-to-eat food, soups, beverages, paper goods, cleaning supplies, cereal, snack items, flashlights, batteries, and protein bars.
  • On Monday, our Rapid Response Team assisted in the distribution of food and essentials in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Afterwards, they visited local shelters and provided supplies to an additional 200 people in need.
  • Feed the Children is teaming up with with several partner agencies in the affected areas, including 21 Reasons to Give, Operation Compassion, Christian Appalachian Project, Convoy of Hope, Harbor Light Worship Ministries, Reach Out American International, Midwest Food Bank.
  • Additional community partner requests are coming in, and we are actively working to ensure that support is available to help everyone.
